About this program

Menstrual health is a leadership issue: when girls miss school or shrink back from activities because of stigma or lack of supplies, everyone loses. Our awareness sessions are factual, respectful, and tuned to the age group we serve.

Where possible, we connect schools with dignity support—so attendance and participation do not depend on household income alone.

What we focus on

  • Clear, stigma-free information on bodies, cycles, and hygiene
  • Peer and facilitator dialogue in a psychologically safe setting
  • Coordination with schools on private, dignified access to supplies or space
  • Messaging that includes boys and teachers where appropriate for culture change

What participants can expect

  • Girls who feel prepared—not ashamed—through their school week
  • Reduced absence linked to period pain, fear, or teasing
  • School environments that treat menstrual health as normal, not taboo
